I would go with:

Schmeichel

De Laet
Morgan
Moore
Konchesky

Hammond
Drinkwater
Cambiasso

Ulloa
Nugent
Vardy

i.e. the team that beat Man Utd in our last victory

I took my Sunderland supporting father-in-law to that game.

I also took him when we beat them 1-0 a couple of years later.

Hopefully he's a lucky omen for us, as I'm taking him to this game too. He doesn't particularly want to go, but I've persuaded him that he should.

im happy with that team, mahrez off the bench if needed, but I think we will get 3 points with that team.

I hope that we start the game how we used to - go out for the first twenty mins or so and completely control the game and press forward solidly. Give their goal keeper some work to do.

The starting line-up isn't as important as the way we go about playing.

Dropping Wasil for what reason?

Dropping Wasil for what reason?

I agree that we look better defensively with Wasil in the team than Moore. But I purely want us to go back to our last winning team after some of the dross that has been served up since.

Dropping Schlupp for what reason?

Bringing in Nugent for what reason?

Playing with no natural width for what reason?

It's tough picking a team right now..

Cambiasso adds a calm, assertive class to the midfield but there's no way he can play in a two nowadays. I'd like to see width, none of this 4 CM's lark, which probably means dropping Cambiasso if we are going back to 4-4-2.

Basically I've got no fecking idea...

Schmeichel

Simpson (please, just for once drop RDL who was awful and rightly taken off at Soton)
Wasyl
Morgan
Schlupp

Cambiasso
James

Mahrez
Vardy/King
Knocky/Albrighton

Ulloa

4-2-3-1/4-5-1

Leicester 5-3 Man United

We clearly struggled with "no natural width" that day

Also no natural width in the team that finished the game against Stoke - you know, our first win of the season.

The only player of ours who offers natural width has been shipped out on loan.

id chose Simpson over RDL who has been off form recently and Danny desrves a chance, we need some creativity so either Mahrez or Knockaert should start. Big game this and one we must at least show some desire/passion. Great game for Kasper to keep his first clean sheet. I think/hope we will be up for this game and produce early season form. If we do we will win 1-0 Ulloa

Cambiasso adds a calm, assertive class to the midfield......

Maybe it's the formation or the lack of quality amongst his team-mates, but I've been decidedly underwhelmed by Cambiasso, especially in the last few games.

I would love to see us actually try and get the 1st goal in this game (how novel)

If we come out all defensive the crowd will be on them early doors and the mistakes will undoubtadly creep in.

Take it to them and the majority of level headed individuals will afford them more mistakes.

Basically get the fecker right up'em, deep and hard.
