I'd say the run may end, not will end, sometime this season, however, the way the squad is performing at the moment I wouldn't be surprised if the run goes on for a little while yet.

We now have a strong bench that can either help us see games through to the end or come on and get a goal to win a game.

Also, QPR don't play until Monday night. They could be sitting in 3rd needing at least a draw to go back into the autos. More pressure on 'Arry's team. :).

3 points for us tomorrow will do nicely COYB :)

Auntie Beeb with a horrific error on their pre-match page......

Head-to-Head
• Watford won the earlier meeting this season 3-0 at Vicarage Road in November.

I envy you that. Remember listening to BBC on the medium wave for updates and being thrilled about beating elton's boys by three goals

Remember it well, Peakey was on fire that day... dates me now, but I played on the school team with him at Market Harborough GS.

I seem to remember one of those goals he tapped it over a defenders foot (Wilf Rostron?) and rifled it in on the volley from the dropping ball....

Shocking quality but had to look it up having posted, and found this:

Memory wasn't too bad, you see what I meant with the second goal...

That Liverpool goal was special too, was right behind that in Pen 2, Clemence's face was a picture he was just stunned!

First game of the season - I'm on my way!

9 wins on the trot. Numerous national papers running stories about our recent success. The Mercury publishing interviews with players about Pearson being 'one of the best'. Watford are a wounded beast from our meeting earlier in the season. They are technically very gifted and have the pace and power of Anya and Deeney. Complacency creeping in. 2-0 win to Watford. :icon_bigg

Micky forecasting a Watford victory. 2-1 win to City.

Oh and I forgot, Manager of the Month. Absolute certain defeat. Crap.

With no game next weekend, as long as the players don't treat as international break we'll be fine
