I thought cos it was next to Coalville it was full of inbreds?:icon_eek:
Anybody know which is the biggest and the smallest?
In terms of physical size, population, qty of homes, qty of local amenities etc?
Obviously there could be a different answer to each one, just something I'm curious about.
Bet you are exciting at Parties..
I would say Broughton is fair size for a village
Wankers
Surprised me when I read that, it seemed to be just an average sized village when I was last there. Must have been about 25 years ago though, I guess it's grown a lot since then!
Sorry Lako .........full of wankers i heard :icon_bigg
At what point does a village become a town?
Cos I think Earl Shilton is now classed as a town.
What amenities has Desford got?
I know they have the college, but there's not a great deal else there is there?
:icon_lol:Looking at this, Charnwood and Melton areas have lots of tiny villages.

The melton areas look nice, theres only one huge drawback i can see.
What defines a village?
:icon_lol:
About pissed myself reading that, I'm sat here like a grinning twat :icon_lol:
No not at all, I was genuinely laughingDo i detect the hugest amount of sarcasm?
As well as the college, they've got some kind of animal centre thing, an Alliance and Leicester, Chemist, several shops and pubs, Library, Petrol Station etc.
So it's just like a typical medium sized village then.
Well it's a big village, not a small town.
Again, its a fairly ambiguous question seeing as no one can define a village. Does Glenfield class as a village?
