I never said he was better that what we already have, but what I mean is we have two strikers who currently have no competition and I think if Lita joins and pushes them then he will definetly get in the team. And he has hardly been playing consistently in the same team in the last two years, when given a run in the team with the same players around him I am confident he will be a good player and will score more goals than any other striker we have.

So you're saying we CAN'T guarantee him first team football - unless he plays well enough to deserve a chance ahead of someone else. Which is the same situation he'd be in whichever club he joins.

Yeah I suppose, but I meant to say is he has much more chance of getting first team football here than at Sheffield Utd where they already have loads of strikers.

All we can do is compete to get a good signing, as NP says there is little point in signing players just for the sake of it. Offer what we feel the player's worth and take it from there.
