who is Craig Levein?

Craig Levein is the person that we have got to thank for putting the playing side of the club onto a relatively affordable footing.

He did what was asked of him, he just wasn't quite up to scratch with the transition to Champo footie results wise. I certainly don't think he is the devil incarnate some people make him out to be.

Agreed.

And he has a certain justification for his views and is quite entitled to tell his version of what happened at the Walkers.

He did carry through a successful downsizing of the wages bill and made one or two decent signings.

Unfortunately.....his results on the park were appalling and he would probably have taken us into the third tier if left in charge any longer.

Leicester City fans are no different to others; they know when enough is enough (according to the circs of the club at the time)...and it reached the point where even the somewhat enfeebled board that runs the club, had to act.

Oh that guy.

Had Levein not lost the players i think he could have been a very good manager for us. After all its the same set of players that made a remarkable transformation after his departure.

Maybe Levein isn't totally to blame, don't forget the results picked up as soon as Dublin (a supposed bad influence) left, which apparantly was Craigs doing. So, as much as I wasn't a fan of the guy, maybe things could have been turned around by CL after Dublin's influence left. We'll never know, but at least we have what seems a good future ahead now

Yes, I agree with that. It took Kelly however to see to get rid of Dublin, he defo a over-bearing factor.

I've been out of the UK for three and a half years - consequently, I first heard of Avril Lavigne, whoever the feck she may be, on here.

Seems I have touched a very, very raw nerve. I'll only say that Alan Hansen has made a career out of his Man Utd 'won't win anything with kids' gaffe.

Clearly you are cut out for greater things Webmaster...

As Kellys hero( Chandler ) been banned:102: . I was hoping for a bit more fun.

I don't think that the Dublin-effect can be overstated. He clearly had a vision of himself as Mr Leicester, the next boss (well supported in his aim by some on here) and was working to ensure that his promotion came sooner rather than later.

I also think back to his doings in the QPR away game the previous season when we lost after being 2-up. We did well to get rid!

What I remember is Connolly getting sent off and Dublin being sent up front by MA when we should have been defending a two-goal lead - not trying to score more! The rest of the defence was not happy with the switch but Dublin just indicated that it was the boss's idea and grinned as he pissed off up front. The rest doesn't need telling.

He was a devisive little shit.

His previous ban still stood, so I should have banned him immediatelty, but I wasn't 100% certain it was him until he'd made a few posts.

Was his ip address the same as before?
