thing is this season you can tell pretty quickly if Riyad is going to have a good game and while no he isn't and may never be on Riyad's level ability wises its annoying to know you have a talented young player sat on the bench desperate for a decent chance so some people, like myself, have very little patience left for Riyad this season as they think he's going in the summer so do what's best for our long term future

......and breathe....

Presumably he's chasing European football. Now matter how much love Shakey or who ever comes in has to give, come summer Riyad will lift up his skirt and run.

Almost certainly so.

It still doesn't sit comfortably with me that he was sacked.

For football and financial only reasons it was probably the right decision but morally it still irks.

That's probably just me though as I am almost certainly too sentimental.

Agreed I don't think anyone was happy with how CR was handled however I do believe the correct decision was made and should have been made earlier we could have been pushing top 6, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

First day of the season and we could've finished top 3.

The idiot is walking along with earplugs in but clearly has nothing playing.

That alone should see him hounded from the club. What an tool, showing off his earplugs just because he can afford them on his ridiculous salary and us normal people can do nothing more than hope to win the lottery to buy them. What a git. What an evil, vicious git. Get out of the club you bastard.

So Funny.

In our current set up, we can't afford to carry any passengers
This season Mahrez has been a passenger most games.
Change how we use his undoubted talent or sell to the highest bidder.
It's a conundrum

He just doesn't fit in with our style at the moment (not sure what that is)

Can you imagine him staying to play in a cautious and defensive Shakey team, I can't.

He's got to leave for his own good now.

On the other hand - a big name manager, a stupidly massive war chest and a host of top level summer signings setting out our intention to dominate the CL in seasons to come...

Yep, I can't see it either.

Heh. I wrote chest. That's almost like writing tits.

He's been disappointing, I'm sure he's disappointed too.

If a big club comes in for him he'll go. Whether they will at a reasonable price is another question. He looked "lightweight" again yesterday being bullied off the ball - and they're was only one defender on him.

Based on this season he shouldn't even be on our bench. How bad must Kapustska be?

Mahrez is not quite the player some people think he is. He has got skills undoubtedly but other than last season, he has about as much influence on games as Schlupp (on a good day) and Josh Low (on most days this season) and other teams will not be as blinded by his step overs as some of our fans.

I think Mahrez will be very disappointed by the stature of club that show a genuine interest in signing him, and most of our fans will be very disappointed with how much we are actually able to get for him.

I stopped reading when you mentioned Mahrez and Josh Low in the same sentence.
