Referee: Stevie Wonder
Assistants: Kia Joorabchian , Riyad Mahrez
Fourth official: Pep Guardiola

We're ****ed.

Pep obviously does not want his fragile babies hurt, so let us make sure we give them a good, in their faces, tough tackling game right from the start.

I really wish Huth was fit and up to speed for this one. he would sort out their nancy boy forwards.

I assume Puel will not risk Mahrez in this game no matter what he says.

If Mahrez blames Man City for his failed transfer he could storm it and score a hat trick. If he blames us he could gift them a couple of goals before Puel can drag him off the pitch.

I got all nostalgic there...not heard anyone use the phrase "nancy boy" for at least 20 years. Nice to have it back! :041:

Indeed, I’m sure we were all missing this particular casually homophobic term.
I miss it as a childhood term that implied weakness & lack of backbone. I wouldn't have known it had any other meaning back then. Same goes for "fairy" I had to wait many years before finding out the sexual connotation. Innocent times.

I'd like to see city start with a 3-5-1-1 formation and try and over run the midfield. Amartey, Dragovic and Maguire as the 3 centre halves. Chilwell and Albrighton as wing backs. Midfield 3 of Ndidi, Silva and Iborra, with Shinji behind Vardy.
Nacho on in the second half to work his magic.

Sounds like nothing we’ve ever done before. If you’re going to experiment with a system totally alien to the players I can’t think of a more appropriate venue than against the runaway leaders. What could go wrong?
