Same start as we made at Chelsea. Look nervous and making challenges too eagerly.

Silly challenge from Soyuncu but Rashford 'won it' - he was going over before the challenge was even made.

****ing hate Man U.

Soft one....... Refs can always get it wrong and VAR will bail them out..... sometimes

Third time in the last five visits we've been behind inside ten minutes at Old Trafford.

Second successive season we give away a stupid penalty early too.

We've been so utterly disappointing so far. Really good pressing high up from Man U and we're just not working hard enough off the ball.

Like I said we would..... Having our little club bellies tickled.

Manager ensured it with that scared lineup

Not impressed with this in the slightest. Soyuncu having a mare. They are playing with so much more desire than us and it's not acceptable. Real chance to make a statement today and we are pissing it away..

There's no width and no creativity. Most posters predicted that this would be the case. Ndidi and Choudhury shouldn't play together - this will always be the result. Albrighton and/or Barnes have both done enough to merit starts and both give us so much more width and opportunities to create chances. This shape has nullified any threat from wide and taken away Maddison's threat through the middle.

Very poor decision making by Rodgers.

Atkinson playing a blinder for Utd.

Used to be a good ref. Now he's shocking. How on earth do you stop play when City break for no reason other than a kid gets tackled fairly? Absolute prick of a ref.

I don't understand why any of you have got so carried away with our chances this week.

We've looked narrow and pretty easy in most games except against some absolute shit

Eh? That's not true one bit. Another forward player in our side today would make our start even worse. We're not lacking options going forward, we'll lacking control of the game in midfield - which is exactly why we have two players in there.

The problem is a lack of composure, not the formation or personnel.

Completely disagree

They’re falling over each other in midfield with no one to play to

And if you think selecting Gray was a correct decision, you’re watching the wrong game

Absolute shit from Gray there. We've picked up in the last few minutes but still, changes needed at half time...

Ah so disappointing that moment from Gray. Could've been a great chance.

I've only had the stream on for 10 mins but we look okay. Man Utd just sitting on their lead though which makes it tough for us.

Gray has one half decent application off the bench when a game was won at home and gets rewarded with a start at Old Trafford.

It's absolute bollocks

Brendan has made it clear he had to eeaen his place this season and it sounds like he's been impressed by the response he's seen.

Yikes, what a disappointing half.

Sloppy goal given away. Sloppy composure all over the pitch despite us getting into many very good positions.

Agree that Gray has been poor. Tielemans equally so if not worse though. His absence in midfield is our main problem. He's the link man and he's not doing it.

Chilwell and Maddison both taking a touch too many each time too.

Need to get into them at half time Brendan.
