I feel sorry for DJ. Here is a young man who wants to be cool and his parents name him Dudley perhaps after a visit to a zoo in the West Midlands.
I had the same problem. Once I found out that I was named after an elderly Welsh Prime Minister I knew I would never be cool.

My son Woburn says that he's had no problems with bullying but he's going to be mardy little shite with no understanding of the offside rule anyhow.

The 4 goals in 15 appearances from Campbell... is that for us? I'm assuming you're talking about this season in his loan spells. For us, Campbell has 4 goals in 38 appearances (according to Wiki at least)

I'm gonna join in on the act and say Campbell doesn't want to be here, and won't perform for us.

Plus, Campbell is 28... Waghorn is only 20.

I am talking about this season...and the fact still remains that so far he has a better goals ratio this season then Waghorn. You can mention previous seasons but out of interest how many has Waghorn scored before this season?

I'm not slagging off Waghorn I'm just pointing out that those people who hate Campbell and suggest he is shi7 are also the ones that want to bum Waghorn, yet the stats suggest they arent so far apart.

DJ is gone and won't play for Leicester ever again, he never hit any kind of form for Leicester and the fans never warmed to him either. Yet people still mention him kissing other club badges...who cares?

Why do people assume a striker's worth is only in his goal to game ratio?

To be fair, Wagorn looks like he'd be an absolute bull in bed. DJ just wouldn't put the effort it. ;)

Lots of people - primarily because we are still picking up his £20k a week wages, and are scheduled to do so until June 2011

rem acu tetigisti!

I do not care where Campbell plies his trade, but as he seems to have decided that it will not be at Leicester, he should accept the wage that other potential employers are willing to pay.

You're aiming your needle at the wrong point. And that point is that he is contracted to Leicester City and that gives the club responsibilities, including to pay him what was agreed for the length of time that was agreed.

There's just too much chicken and egg about in the relationship between Campbell and Leicester City for anybody to judge who has decided what about whom.

Has he? How do you know this?

Why should he? I know I wouldn't take a voluntary pay cut while working a short career in a volatile industry.

Because its Leicester City and everyone would give there right testicle to play for us and if someone isnt getting picked its because they dont want to play for us, are disruptive to the team and crap anyway, but good forbid you go out on loan and kiss another badge!!!

I agree that, legally, we have to continue to pay Mr. Campbell and, of course, I do not know what has gone on between the player and the club but, surely, 99.9% of the points made upon this site are based upon what we believe, rather than what we know.

Based purely on quotes in newspapers and the effort he seems to have put in on the rare occasion that three Leicester managers have played him , he does not give the impression of a player who wishes to further his career at Leicester. This is a decision which he is entirely free to make, I simply believe that, if this is the case Campbell has a moral obligation to find employment elsewhere at whatever remuneration his chosen club feels it can pay.

...Campbell has a moral obligation to find employment elsewhere at whatever remuneration his chosen club feels it can pay.

The only obligation that he has is to the contract that Leicester City and himself signed.

Moral obligations only exist in people's imaginations
