The Pearson (Coalition) supporters will blame everything that goes wrong on the mess that was inherited from Sven (Labour), while the Sven supporters are going to say that he would have turned things around given the time and Pearson is going the wrong way. I suspect neither is 100% right.

Thank you for making me a socialist, rather than the other lot. :icon_bigg

Either the Crewe/WBA model of recouping investment through player development or banking promotion monies or the new Wrexham/Exeter fans-owned model of operating within tight financial constraints and having supporters responsible directly for the operation of the club rather than an egotistical wanker with **** all idea about the game or running an enterprise.

At a guess.

On reflection I would much prefer the "egotistical wanker" model if that is the alternative to the blind alley of a supporters trust which would only be suitable for a Blue Square Premier club - at best.

On Mills - I'm a Pearson supporter but that doesn't mean that he always gets things right. The idea of presenting him to one of our main rivals and paying most of his wages is just daft in my opinion - and asking for trouble.

Are you dubious about the existence of the loan window? Or are you just really derisory about it?

If it brings people solace during dark times in their season then what is wrong?

When one starts out hoping for so much only to be crushed by failure and existential angst it is no surprise that they develop a faith in such a thing.

Me? I believe a spaghetti-based attacking midfield player exists who will be the answer to all our prayers.

In today's (27th Feb '12) i newspaper, there is a story about WBA's 4-0 destruction of Sunderland. Here is a quote;
"...he (Peter Odemwingie) feared he might have been sold in January after his public disagreement with his boss. ........ He (Roy Hodgson) said he was 100% he wanted to work with me."

I do not see that happening at Leicester. Much more a case of retract, or get out.

I'm not too sure. The reason Mills has been dropped is that he has not been playing well enough to warrant a place in the team. If he's upset about that fine, but he has not been good enough too many times this season.

I'm glad he's pissed off at being dropped. Its the only way he should feel about it. The only hope is that he knuckles down and realises he's just a player who needs to earn a place, in the same way that his s colleagues have done.

Duram wheat is the best type. Duram? Durham? Adrian Durham? The Peterbore fan? Are you suggesting a raid on Posh is imminent?

There are 2 different sources on FT saying Mills nutted Pearson, whether that's true or not I don't know but if it is sending Mills out on loan doesn't seem unreasonable.

Sorry but you can't start a string of associations/soundalikes on here without ending up at Dusty Bin. Useless.

Sacking him wouldn't be unreasonable if thats true. Which it clearly isn't.

But it's worthy of a pretty good guess, I would suggest

Sure he didn't shit in his car as well ?

I think that this belongs in the 'lets invent a bizarre story to explain a fairly mundane happening in the life of football folk'.

It took supporters about 5 minutes to work out that we had paid OTT for Mills - although no one knows exactly how much he cost! It was obvious this January that Pearson was setting his stall out to move on a centre back. I thought he was going to lose one of our best players - Sol Bamba. Fortunately and to Pearson's credit it was Mills. That said, as I said above it's not good to virtually gift him for the season to Leeds. Mills ain't no John Charles but neither is a Gary Coatsworth and like as not the only people to benefit will be Leeds when Mills plays out of his skin to prove a point. He should have been moved on to a club not in competition with us.
