It may well have been done before, I have no information to say otherwise, it just appeared on face value that MDV was CL's first name on the team sheet

No he didn't. He just happened to be the one that scored the goal, he played like a prick for most of the match. Anybody else might have stuck 2 or 3 in by that time.

joking apart mark has a girlfriend which he meet in holland when he played for a small club on the outskirts of rotterdam where we lived for a few yrs ,mdv lived about 3 house down from ours

I remeber watching the video on world of the press conference that this was confirmed. RK was in temp charge then, and, referring to the loan of MDV, said ''It was my decision''. This makes me think the MDV isnt wanted by RK so if Herenveen decide MDV's not worth a contract, i think RK will look to offload him asap. Hope that helps

Yeah I am pretty sure RK said the movement of MDV out of the club was his decision, I also think at the time he admitted that he wanted to Dublin to stay but it had been taken out of his hands.

Yes Rob said roughly that at the Trust AGM back in February. Dublin moving on was more or less a done deal before Rob took over, where as the opportunity to move MDV came after Rob had been put in charge

The League season is finished, but they are now involved in their amazing play-off scheme where 14 of the 18 clubs have to play-off. This is either for a European place of some sort or continued existence in the top division.
