Bolton will get Bolton relegated, Megson is there to try and save them.

They were in a dire position when he went there.

He's like Mr ****ing Untouchable :icon_lol: Takes teams down left right and centre but it's never his fault!!:icon_lol:

Thank you, you've just proven my point.:023:

I used the same attitude that you lot are showing towards Holloway, and you slate me for it.

Gotta laugh aint ya :icon_lol:

So Holloway took us over in a dire stste so he shouldnt be slated for taking us down either??

No he took us over in dire straits and we have remained in dire straits but theres no point in harking back to Megsion etc anymore,Holloway is our Manager and whilst he appears to be able to talk the talk at the moment he is not looking so great at walking the walk but I'd still give him time and quite a lot of it

Of course he should, and so should Megson.

You get brought in to do a job and you fail, you pay the price. My comment above about Megson was a form of entrapment, it isn't my opinion.

The similarities are there between Megson at Bolton and Holloway at Leicester, both handed in their notices to turn the fortunes of a failing team around. One is being criticised as a poor Manager because he isn't having much of an impact. The other is proving to be even worse by dropping further down the league yet is thought upon as some sort of footballing God that can't be blasphemed. Bizarre really.

I'm just interested in the different attitudes of supporters towards each Manager.

"I'd rather be a lucky manager than a good one." Megson after Bolton's home defeat to Portsmouth on Saturday....

I'm not sure he's either...doesn't luck favour the brave?

Aye same here but he'll be fcuked if he thinks Rasiak is a like for like replacement for Anelka.

I noticed yesterday just how one footed Anelka is,he wants everything on his Right foot, force him out to his left and he's fecked

Megson got the defence sorted, made us hard to beat, but didn't solve the goal scoring problem we have. Premiership is probably a step to far for him, but makes a good CCC manager.
Holloway has made a mess of the defence, made us easier to beat, plays players out of position, has bought in players and then doesn't play in the formation needed for them. Plays four up front with limited midfield which leads to hoofball. Can't motivate the players, slags them off and tells us not to. Blames anyone and anything rather than admit he has got it wrong.

He's a nice guy though.

Where were you post Cov or post Palace??

Megson sure did sure up the defence, but that's always been our strongest asset.

I thought Ginger Mourinho did a good job (ish) but so what? He is not here, he left us for a 'better' position.

Regardless if we were in Dire straits or not when megson was here it was definately Money for nothing.

I'm surprised Holloway hasn't resorted to Calling Elvis off the bench. I think we should do some Private Investigations on the money situation as well.

By playing 7 defenders.

Against Coventry we were ok, they were poor, against Palace we were lucky. We won it off a miss kick. Oh, and we fluked a draw against Norwich when we should have been hammered. Just because we got a result doesn't mean we played well.

Take Kaebi for instance he was hardly the Sultan of the wing and im sure he has some brothers in arms.
