Re: Millan Happy

One of my favourite Swedish children books. "A lot more of Millan".

Re: Millan Happy

Milan might be happy but BG is not happy

who needs the lcfc forum when we have a bus shelter thread.

Apparently promised that £4m would be spent on players this summer, if not more, but this includes wages.

Said that we're looking at defence first, then midfield, then attack. Seems a bit of a strange way of doing it, but I guess logical in a way.
I'm sure that at least some midfield/attacking targets have been identified and we'll make a move earlier than planned if we'd miss out otherwise..

I am not unhappy but I am failing to see where that Premier League in three years is coming from. :017: :017:

I bet they will change the Championship into the Premiership 2 in 3 years time......

Look at all the top names we have been linked with, and then look who we have signed, on top of that we have racked in 650K from selling that Irish wally, so in fact MM may be in pocket so far.
I guess the names of players we were linked with was a leaked spin from the club to get tickets sold......

Martin Allen was claiming 12,000 have been sold. Well that must be one hell of a ticket office were running because on Thursday they told me they had only sold 9,000!

I for one am glad I watched that little snipet. Milan is right we have a long way to go before we can call ourselves ready for the start of the season.

Is it just me or is Milan looking really old in that pic on the os????

4 million.... thanks Mr. Mandaric!!!

Thinking about it the signings aren't all bad:

Nielson- Rated highly in Denmark, never know could do a job here.

N'Gotty- old but did do it at this level last season, has played in europe with ac milan.

Carl Cort- once a 7million player, hampered by injuries could come good if he stays fit

Sappleton- Only 17, was wanted by premiership teams.

Hellings- once a 2 million euro player only 22

MA has taken some major risks in signing these players on more then 1 year deals. But surely if MA is the man for the job he will get the best out of these players.

Ok Mandy hasn't spent any cash out of his pocket YET but there is still time, the season doesn't start till August. Could be another 5-10 players coming into the club. Carl Cort & N'Gotty can't be on bad wages, so surely MA will have a higher wage budget then RK did.

I don't see what the negativity is about, there is still plenty of time. Remember as the great man, Craig Levien used to say, "negativity will not get us promoted!"
