From Sky News tonight:
Sky crime correspondent Martin Brunt, speaking from Portimao, said police were "adamant" they had found the most "damning" evidence yet implicating either one or both of the McCanns in their daughter's death.
The evidence came in blood samples returned from the Forensic Science Service in Birmingham.
"Police say it is the most damning evidence that has been returned by the tests," Brunt said.
"It shows, as far as they are concerned, the presence of Madeleine's body in the car five weeks after she disappeared."
He continued: "The evidence suggests very strongly that it was not that her DNA had been transferred from clothing or from a cuddly toy."

Also according to the Evening Standard this evening the McCanns are looking into the legality of whther they can use the money in the 'Find Maddie' fund to use in thier defense IF they are charged over this.
Is it just me who thinks it's wrong they would be using that money donated by the public to find Maddie to fight any prosecution case against them?
I don't want to believe a parent could not only be responsible for the death of their child but to go to such lengths to cover it up and play on the sympathy of the public would mean that person being far more cold and calculating than anything I could imagine.
I hope they are only guilty of being irresponsible in the welfare of their children and nothing worse.
But the way things are going at the moment it's starting to look ominous for the McCanns.
