Cant we give Matty Jones a go next year in midfield. Surely he will do better than Nalis. Id like to see the fella have another shot at playing in the famous blue & white.
I was quite touched at last game of the season when he came running round with the Birch. He blew kisses and waved with true affection to us IMO. He ended up taking his shirt off for someone.
Opinions!

If hes not retired by then.

I'd be happy to see Jones playing for us again, the main problem is he might never play football again let alone for us. As for playing him instead of Nalis, I disagree I think Nalis will be one of the best players in division one next season.

Nalis will be class in the Fizzy. Jones unknown quantity and more often than not, not fit. :? :?

I think at times Nalis has been very good this year, so he should be class next year.

Yeah the vlub most be really close to his heart...i mean after about five games and a weekly wage of 20,000 plus i can see why!!

Sure give him a chance but theres no way he lovs the club in the same mould as an izzet, a walsh or a bruno.

having said that the chances are that he would have retired cos his body is f****d!!!

Malf, I cant believe you are saying that about Nalis. He is the new fcukin Junior Lewis. Everytime I saw him play, he was shocking, absolutely shocking.

Fair play to you for showing faith, but I wait to be proved wrong.

I think he is absolute SHIT!

Really? He has come on leaps and bounds since his shaky start. Whilst Muzzy was injured, Nalis was excellent. He can pass the ball unlike any other player we have.

I didn't realise people still thought he was crap?

Im not sure about him i thought his best game was against barcelona. i get the impression he's a classic foreigner that struggles to cope with the pace and being closed down all the time. If he can get the pace of the game under control i think he can be a class act. (thats a big if)

Dont think he was able to play his natural game....he was rushed, theway leicester pla doent suit him. but he was improving and getting into english football. being in and out of the squad didnt help he never got a chance to settle. Next year is the make or break and i have a feeling he will make it. Now he is settled in england, and sorted out his personal problems, he will fly.

And he is definetly a starter otherwise MA would have binned him. he is going to be a founation for the next few years

Nalis = Junior Lewis? You are talking nonsense!

Nalis actually has ability, and he shown glimpses of it this season. He's had a lot to deal with - Moving to England for the first time, adapting to the speed of the game, then he suffered 2 family deaths, got back, got himself fit, and played some good games for us. He's got better as the season has progressed, and I feel that against Arsenal, he was certainly one of our better players. He looks to have got to grips with the speed of the game now, and is much more urgent when he has the ball in terms of receiving and distributing it.

In Division 1, he will have more time on the ball, and this is where we will see the best of him.

Matt Jones? No thanks, he'll probably retire anyway.

Its all about opinions lads.

I think he is shit and I hope he is 100% better next year.

He takes an age to pass the ball, which usually goes past a player or out for a throw in.

He ball watches like I have never seen a player do before.

His "box-box" attributes are non-exsistent.

He needs a corn circle to turn on the ball.

I dont rate him.

I sit in the kop and missed 2 games last year and he reminds me off a "slighty" better Junior Lewis. Quote!

He looks well out of his depth and shit scared on the ball. I hope he improves I really do but I dont it!

I think some fans are desperate to follow a decent "foreigner" but sadly Nalis is not the one.

Sorry guys!

This would be a different player to the Matt Jones who a few months ago was telling the world from his website how much he wanted to wear the white of Leeds United again?

I agree about being desperate to follow a great foreigner, but I find your opinions on Nalis interesting. I had this same view up until about February time, then he got stuck in. He has actually shown great signs of becoming a ball winner and his passing has always been there to be seen, he obviously has alot to do to win you over I hope he does.
