If indeed they had shown poor support, which I dont believe they have. With the possible exception of the last home game.

Some players have been booed even before stepping onto the pitch for most of the season. That's bound to affect not just the indivdual's performance, but the whole team's.

They has been muted booing but hardly loud or particulary noticeable IMO.

You can hear it on RL Durham honestly,if them two feckers ever shut up that is.

You can certainly hear the boos for some players when their names are announced before the match - and the list of players getting the treatment seems to be growing. At first it was just MdV, but Kisnorbo, Rab and Sylla have also started getting the treatment. No doubt Hamill will be next.

Fair do's - I personally don't think it's as bad as people are making out. If it was me it would make me more determined to prove people wrong. Its called fighting spirit.

I agree that certain players have been picked out for treatment, and whilst Ido not agree with booing players, I can also sympathise with the supporters for losing paitence, however I would also like to add that IMO the jeers have been from a very small minority, remember Craig's own words.

You cannot in one breath say that the booing of players is effecting their game and is continious but then allude to the point that the loudest dissatisfaction has been levelled at the manager and yet he, the club and indeed many on this forum have stated it was from small minorities !

You cannot have it both ways !

Different people react in different ways.

But to be at the top of your game you need to be playing with confidence, and booing players will affect the confidence of all but the most strong willed.

I dont like hearing players being booed, but in Sylla's case it is born out of fustration, the guy is a lazy feck, who doesnt give a shit about the club, and his performances have been nothing short of unacceptable on far too many occasions, and yet the fans are supposed to clap and cheer him, the guy may as well run out every week and stick his middle finger up at each and every one of us.

You get out what you put in !

As for Kisnorbo and Rab, they are suffering for what people percieve to be poor performance, whilst MDV is still carrying the tag from last year, I also think that the anger held against the manager is now being transmitted onto his percieved favourites.

I don't actually think Sylla has been that bad!

It was noticeable that at Norwich & Millwall that Smith was just as bad but never got the abuse from the planks in the stands that Sylla did.

IMO he certainly isnt the type of player we need in our present circumstances, loses possession and just stands and watches too many times , and he ducks out of a lot of challenges and yet dishes out a bit of afters he is a coward in my eyes !

TBH that appears to be the biggest problem in the squad at the moment, we lack character and fight, we are too nice as a team and IMO we have too many fancy dans, we need a couple of real battlers. We are a soft touch, we can play football and we have some very talented individuals, but teams know that if they get amongst us then the likelihood is they will take control, we need a couple of players capable of putting their foot in.

I dont think he has been either, its just his style of play that gives the lazy image.
But the crowds patience has been wearing thin over the last few weeks, and that is reflected on the players they are turning against. They have their favorites and will never shout at them even if they play badly

Sylla is often accused of not tracking back but from where I am he tracks back as much as the likes of Smith, Hughes and Williams.
