We need a different type of striker,one who can holdthe ball up and is goodin the air.wheres the point in getting wingers to put crosses into the box for Hume or fryatt who strength is not their heading

Completely agree. I think we do need strikers, until Hume's recent form we were struggling to score from the front - which will end up getting us in trouble, Hull, Burnley and Colchester at home being prime examples of this ineffectiveness.

Hopefully Hume, Fryatt, O'Grady and Hammond can between them get form going, however a good striker in their would/could make all the difference IMO.....Seasoned pro, Shipperly or the like for now...

Said it before, I think he could do a good job for us whilst Fryatt and O'Grady get some experience and offers something different.

In midfield we need somebody who can go past players and get into the box. Can't really think of anybody, otherwise Patrik Berger might be an option but he's getting on a bit.
