Getting on for 10 years ago Man. City got rid of Schmeichel in favour of Joe Hart. Leicester shouldn't make the same mistake. Hart has never been much cop, over-hyped, Butland and even Forster are better 'keepers.

I've just looked at our fixture list for September. When most of our squad return from International duty all round the world, they've got six games in seventeen days including a foreign trip and three separate competitions.

Makes me think that we need two or three more players in before Wednesday. Proper strong signings too. We're being linked with a few names but nothing seems to be going anywhere.

The next few days could be key to our chances of being competitive this season.

That January transfer deadline day striker nonsense seems a long way away now. If only we'd signed Loic Remy then we'd be top of the league now.

However I agree with others it doesn't feel that there is anything substantial enough happening at the moment for 'big' signings by the deadline. (But we all know nothing)
