Speculation Motown's hysterical and annoying, but traditional, totally unfounded Winter 2016/17 rumours thread

All this talk of the 'new Kante', I dunno, it's beginning to nark me - as if that's the ONLY answer. There are other systems of play that we might use. I know the cliche is that he's more than one player but he certainly doesn't play for every other team in the land! I wish we'd stop obsessing about "replacing" him and move on. We need a couple of midfielders, not one that plays as 2. We also need another centre back. And that's just the priority positions.

I don't think we've recruited well and we've been found out. We've bought for the future without regard to the present. You need to spend to keep still these days.

Not particularly surprising that Schlupp rumors begin again after Porto.
After that performance it's clear he's either not good enough or he's not interested in playing for lcfc.

I'm hoping CR has told him he can leave. He has had more than enough chances now and can only have potential for so long.

Seems I was just way out in front in terms of my thinking on the useless shithouse.

I have a meeting with Pulis and his people later today, I will be trying to keep a straight face throughout the negotiations.

The West Mids will suit Jeff.

I just hope it doesn't end up in a bidding war as we really don't want to be paying them too much to take him :)

And is he didi like Kante?

Ndidi he is, if you believe what they say.

Sounds like a decent prospect, I'm excited by the transfer if it happens. Pinning a lot of hope on young shoulders though. Let's hope he's good enough to come into the first team and hit the ground running.
