Before seeing us play this system first half against Monaco, I thought we couldn't possibly play this way effectively with our group of players and our tactical naivety.

Fortunately we're not going to face anyone in this league even close to the quality of Monaco's first team or reserves. I don't get the idea behind organising 'glamour friendlies' as all it does is make us look and feel even more shit than we really are.

£15 for a warm up game, football is a crock of shit these days. Hopefully one day there will be nobody in the grounds and clubs will wake up. Unlikely to ever happen as people need their fix.
Until I found out a ticket was £10 I was planning on taking my daughter to watch Gateshead v Darlington yesterday......conference team v evostik something or other league in a ****ing friendly.
