In the League Cup games there was action tonight for Nicky Adams getting an assist in the 2-1 win at home for Carlisle against Port Vale.

Kevin Ellison came on in the 88th minute for Morecambe at Rotherham with them losing 3-2. They equalised in injury time from a penalty by Jack Dunn and then Ellison put them ahead with 7 minutes to go of extra time. Then 5 minutes later Ellison set up Dunn for his hattrick and although Rotherham got one back Morecambe won 5-4.

Stephen Dawson (There's only one!) played in Scunthorpes 2-0 win over Notts County

Even Bakayogo got a game, playing for Crewe in their 2-1 win at Sheffield United after extra time

ROCHDALE LAND LOGAN

Rochdale have signed Irish goalkeeper Conrad Logan on a six-month deal.

The 30-year-old's move is subject to international clearance and he spent three months on loan at Dale in 2014, making 25 appearances before having his spell cut short due to injury.

Logan started his career at Leicester and had loan spells at Boston, Stockport, Luton, Bristol Rovers, Rotherham and Rochdale before moving to Hibernian last season, helping the club lift the Scottish Cup.
