What's worse is that Pearson Jnr. Never got a chance ahead of that useless duffer Simpson. His son will be delighted.
Still pisses me off that this corrupt bollocks was allowed to happen.
Interesting interview with Kermorgant in the times today (Saturday) about the infamous penalty. Clearly was not happy with his time at City
Says (sorry doing this off memory if I've misremembered some of it)
- he was a bag of nerves for the spot kick as you might expect but because he knew he would be the fall guy if he missed as he hadn't been welcomed into the squad at all and he knew "Pearson didn't like him"
- he really hadn't intended to do a fancy pen to show off, he'd just noticed how the keeper had dived for each one and felt a chip to the middle was worth trying
- had been completely isolated all season, others in the squad threatened by him rather than welcoming him. He compared this with the French approach of really integrating new players into the squad, particularly foreign ones.
- only three players put themselves forward to take pens against Cardiff and those with loud voices in the dressing room didn't want to take one
- clearly upset about the lack of game time he'd had all season and, on the back of that, the weight of expectation on his penalty after being given five minutes of extra time on the pitch.
- he has heard the Dave Henson song, and was mostly impressed that Dave had managed to get it recorded on the night of the match!
And he has gone on to great things after that game !!??!!Interesting interview with Kermorgant in the times today (Saturday) about the infamous penalty. Clearly was not happy with his time at City

Chris Weale has joined Dorchester Town
Perhaps Calum could ask this guy for help.
NOT
That Honey Monster could be useful.
He was class when he played for Newcastle under Keegan
But not as good as Jeremy when he played for Leicester.
