I didn’t. I expected us to get relegated if we had kept him but I was probably willing to accept it.

Better to burn out than fade away and all that. We are now the footballing equivalent of John Major.
It would have been embarrasing. Champions of England directly to the Championship. Not nice

Not surprised they won that game, Southampton are one of the worst sides in the league at the moment and Fulham will be enjoying new manager syndrome for a few weeks. Once that fades off I expect he'll get them climbing up the table. Like with Nantes I'll give it about a year before it all starts to go tits up.....

I was ****ing fummin when he was sacked. Many games after that i was still fummin when they started bothering again....the first game in particular I didn't actually enjoy the win. What gets me now is they're doing just enough to keep the current frigger in a job. Still fummin tbh

Poor old Boc can’t remember him being manager at all, let alone whether he wanted him sacked or not.

This might, or might not, be true. Problem is I haven't got a scoobies who we are talking about

This article reckons that we approached Paulo Sousa about taking the managers job here six weeks ago:

There is a long, long list of former City managers I’d take back if it meant not having Sousa here again. Micky Adams is on it. Craig Levein made the cut. All the temporary ones, including Garry Parker and Nigel Worthington. In fact, every human you can think of who has ever stood in or near, run past, or looked at the dugout during a Leicester City fixture in the past 134 years.

Except Gary Megson.
