Brian Deane's contract at Sarpsborg 08 will not be extended. He will now leave after the season is finished when his contract expires.
The club thought they should have done better with what they regard as their best squad ever. I think most people find this a bit strange. Sarpsborg should be happy to stay up. At the moment they're 11th, 6 points clear of relegation spots, 9 behind 3rd (which qualifies for Europa League)
