You´re right.....for a moment, I just thought he´d got his head on upside down.
Now 5-0 against West Ham
Should give me quite a few handy points in the "PA Cup friendly" vs Jeff. Don't know if it will be enough though.

Doesn't help the thousands of Hammers fans that travelled up to Nottingham. For a live game they took quite a few.
A refund would be a step too far though I reckon

It doesn't, but fans should already be aware that the number of teams who see the cup as anything other than a distraction is getting smaller each season. One day fans will just stop going and then the clubs win by having no cups to trouble themselves with.

If you win the FA cup, the total prize money adds up to a little over £3.3m. A nice sum for a mid/lower championship team but nothing compared to promotion. Considering most premier league teams will only get to round 5 at most then they'll earn roughly the same just by finishing one place higher in the league. For us, it's nothing compared to what promotion will give us. Until this all balances out then can the FA really complain that clubs don't take it seriously?

Also, just found out that the winning team in the capital one cup only gets £100,000 and nothing below semi finals apparently. No wonder people care even less about that.

All ture, though it'd be great if football was about winning as well as just £s

Not an ex player but Ian Holloway has been confirmed as the new manager at Millwall.
