Chris Kirkland makes a great late save in the game for Sheffield Wednesday to keep it at 1-1 at Burnley. So Burnley fail to get the winner due to a great rearguard action by Kirkland and the rest of the Wednesday defence including Mattock.

What a ridiculous statement. These people wouldn't say what the are doing to him in real life regardless of how much of a tit he is, so they shouldn't be excused doing it online. Even though you say you aren't excusing it, you are with your last statement.

I'm not excusing it at all. As you pointed out I mentioned I wasn't in my last statement.

The abusers should no doubt be banned for life from Twitter and face police action.
