If you looked through the fixtures four weeks ago, you could have predicted this quite easy. We have actually got off lightly. It could have well been ten points.

It doesn't change the scenario that we need to win six games and hope it's enough.

If Villa hadn't got that late winner the other night then we'd have got off very lightly indeed. That's really the only result that has opened up the gap from 4 weeks ago.

Surely the hope is now gone. I believe we have played some good football this season but we are clueless on the softer side that allows teams in the premier league to close games out. We are down with QPR and, I suspect, Sunderland.

I think that is a bit hopeful, we will be going down and then won't come back up for a few years cos championship is now very strong

I am going to be optimistic until we are mathematically down. This season has been so depressing so far that I decided to not let it get to me.
