I don’t think Slimani was a terrible signing. We never played to his strengths.

I'm not buying some of it. Under, Daka, Tete, Faes, Souttar, Slimani.....
Some/most of these are complete and total shit (although I think Souttar looks fine, just a bit rough around the edges) but all of them are better signings than Soumare who has been laughably inept.
Okay, hyperbole kicked in; he's the signing that has pissed me off the most because of his abject ****ing laziness.
All the hammering Maddison has been getting of late makes the defence of Soumare by some ****ing ludicrous. He's been just as shit as Tielemans and Ndidi barring one single game when he accidentally looked like a footballer. He soon corrected that error.

I think putting Smithies in there is a bit unfair on him, bloke was only bought in as a third chioce. I also think that in the few games he got Dragovic looked OK.
