Anyone able to find that picture of him looking sick as a ****ing chip when he went for his medical? Always looked promising.
Can you explain ‘sick as a ****ing chip’ for me please? I like it, want to make sure I use it correctly.

To have the arrogance to believe that the squad needs no additions just shows that he hasn’t got a clue.
Is it that, or has he been told he can't spend in this window? I don't know, but any fool can see we need a plan B to Vardy and Nacho ain't it. Puel must see that as well, so I must assume he's not been given the funds to provide that alternative.

As far as this game goes - at least the BBC got what they hoped for, we got what we deserved.

Possible he is trying to be cute. We weren’t going to ‘replace’ Mahrez then we signed Ghazal unexpectedly.

I’ll use it anyway, like.

Stick like after anything in a geordie accent and everyone will assume it's meant to make sense. Or man.....look what happened with the cup of beans, man. Once Michael was laughed at for such stupidity, nowadays any pub or restaurant does a cup of beans.

I love Marc Albrighton and agree the substitution Puel made resulting in him playing right back was idiotic. But that doesn't excuse him moving his elbow out to block the ball. The penalty was his fault and his alone.

Of course it was stupid.

It seemed sensible to me. Newport were playing very deep, and weren't threatening at all.

Simpson wasn't doing anything. No threat going forward, and nothing to do defensively.

Albrighton continued to play more as a winger, and Ghezzal moved into the middle, where he was more effective.
The change helped us get back into the game. The penalty was just a moment of madness.

Ricardo instead of King.

so playing out of position made him stick his arm up in the air? he didn't get done by a winger he committed a brainless handball I know you want to blame Puel for everything including Trump's election but he isn't responsible for that

It was a stupid decision to have him there and a stupid decision by him to raise his hand.

I was served beans in a tiny saucepan with a fry up yesterday morning..... This country, it’s gone to the ****ing dogs. Can’t get a decent savoury 99 for love nor money.

Kalechi Iheanacho is the footballing equivalent of a tiny copper saucepan full of beans. I don’t know what I mean by that but it feels right.

It was a stupid decision to have him there
why? it got an extra attacker on the pitch and someone at right back that could bomb forward as we needed in the context of the game, yeah we could have made a like for like change positionally but we took a gamble which by the way worked, until Albrighton handled the ball.

And by the way he's played at right back for us before last season and done well so its not a totally new thing either

Like I said

Should have sent the academy team and the academy manager in order to show the country, the FA and the LCFC fans what we actually think of this competition.

I'm ****ing fed up with our shit attitude to cups, our lack of ambition of any kind.

The club has no bollocks.

**** off Puel and half of the squad, zero ambition.

He had ricardo, our most in form player sitting on the bench. Instead he brought on King.

On paper Albrighton has the makings of a decent right back but every single time we’ve tried it something catastrophic has happened. Think he was sent off last time? I don’t remember a good performance from eight back by him, but your memory may be better than mine.

But beside the point really. We shouldn’t be in a position where we are so utterly reliant on one person.

But we are, seemingly even against league 2 opposition which is just not ****ing good enough.

yes because he replaced someone in central midfield when has Ricardo ever played in central midfield? considering you are bitching about playing someone out of position you are very quick to contradict yourself
