Probably. Maddison was there for half the match and did nothing. Vardy has had many games just like Iheanacho today and I can't remember a chance he'd have more likely taken.

Not sure if Claude is trying to shun the blame onto the players there by saying eight of them won a title. He's got a point but it doesn't absolve him of any blame in my eyes. They won that title playing Ranieri's expansive, positive counter attacking football - not Puel's backwards hoofball shitshow. Things like pulling Vardy back to defend opposing set pieces are his input and it's poor management. Ultimately I think the main thing we take from this is that we have no strength in depth and have signed a bunch of overpriced duffers with our title winnings since Ranieri, Walsh and co. left.

Nacho is not played best as a lone striker. I think his best games and link up play was in the whole playing one-twos and a through ball to vardy.

The issue is every striker we have dog bed has never been an out and out striker.

We must invest in a Vardy replacement by the summer or face sliding down thr table.

Fuchs can't wait to be in the states. Isn't he off in the summer and counting down? Maybe going to Villa on loan.

Albrighton works hard but he does have moments of madness in him and gives the ball away cheaply when running like a mad hare, his corners don't beat the first man but he is picked for his energy crossing and "pashun". You have to accept that when playing him.

I want Ghezzal to do well and i think he will with games and confidence. However, he won't be given that.

The fact that Ricardo wasn't brought on shows how much disrespect Puel has shown the fans and the cup.

HOWEVER, part of me wonders if Puel was trying to prove a point which I'll explain..

There is no doubt that the Leicester owners are kind, caring anr have a great relationship with the players. Has this bond now corrupted there business minds? Here's some examples..

- Fuchs signed a contract extension as a final pay day before he ventures to the USA
. Amartey signing a long term deal despite suffering a serious long term injury
- James still at the club did he sign a new deal?
- Morgan signing contact extensions despite his inability to play to the standard of football hence why we play better with kante or 3 man midfield
Its too comfy that we can't move on any dead wood.

Perhaps there are more or maybe I'm over thinking however puel has hinted about 8 players winning the title? These players no longer play regular football and are too old.

He hasn’t signed a contract extension. He’s out of contract in the summer.

He was woeful yesterday, however he has been our best centre back so far this season, playing the majority of games with a 2 man midfield.

I have to add, all those Leicester fans singing “you’re getting sacked in the morning” when we went 2-1 down are utter ****s.

I’m probably one of Puel’s biggest critics and have wanted him out since March last year, but to sing that to your own manager, no matter the situation, shows a complete lack of class.

I can see what you are saying but playing Shinji as a striker when he scores with all the regularity of Twisters in London is certainly his fault.

I dread to think what the reaction would have been if it was Ghezzal that gave the penalty away instead of golden boy Albrighton.

I do like Albrighton ... however yesterday he was one of the biggest reasons we did not win yesterday, missing one of the best chances of the game and inexplicably giving away a penalty.

I didn't see or hear that on the TV, but when you've just travelled a nearly 300 mile round trip on a Sunday evening to see that, I can certainly understand their frustration.

Let's face it; the players know, the staff know, the opposition all know - Puel isn't going to be here for the start of next season. If that happens now, or in May, it won't make a huge amount of difference except to those of us that have to watch the boring shite football between now and then.
