What's Stowell's record as caretaker across his several stints? I feel like it's not good.

Theres no reason to believe he can do anything. That's not a gamble, that's ****ing lunacy.

I've underestimated Mike Stowell.

Amazingly in his 6 spells as caretaker manager here (!), last night was his 9th game as caretaker and the first he's lost.

Before that he'd won 5 and drawn 3.

More than 5 mins?

He's spent as a starter now.

Daka or Iheanacho need to start every game for the rest of the season now.

Anyone who cannot see this has to be blind.

We’re an absolute ****ing circus.

You're not surprised though are you?
Not in the slightest.

It’s less about leaving Stowell in charge, which is probably right, but more that it appears to have dawned on them overnight that Rodgers was not the man for the job.

It’s been plainly obvious he’s needed to go for months. How they have not seen that until Sunday is absolutely scary.

It also leads me to think that there are absolutely no plans or contingencies being built for the summer - which really is a worry.

KP aren't bothered any more. And without any drive from the top, the entire club has imploded through inertia and complacency.

It's all going to have to collapse and we'll start again.

Adi Hutter admits he is "working" towards securing a job in the Premier League, amid links to Leicester City.

Beard? Check. Blank, slightly pissed off expression? Check. Three at the back and wingbacks...

Hutter, a coach renowned for his high-octane, up-and-at-’em approach and his fondness for a three-man backline, won a league and cup double with Red Bull Salzburg

A three-man back line flanked by dyed-in-the-wool wingers – right and left footers on their respective flanks rather than the inverted variety – and a flexible front three has become his go-to set up,” the Bundesliga website explains.

Might have more of an idea how to get the best out of Daka too. (says he playing the straight man....)

That's a tentative 'yes' from me.

I’ll have a slice of him, yeah

Will we turn to man called Adolf in our time of need?
