Why are we posting images of men who hate apples eating invisible apples? It's beyond me. It truly is.
I’ll go for pictures of some dead rabbits next time.

The longer this goes on, the worse it looks. Given the inept search when we sacked Rodgers, I had kind of hoped we’d be a bit more organised this time and I know that it’s still early at the minute, but the board haven’t got a lot of credibility currently, so they need to get whoever they’ve got planned fairly quickly. If it drags on, they should be getting hammered.

They should, of course, also get hammered, if it’s someone of the quality of Dean Smith.

It's only Tuesday and he was sacked Sunday. It's still early.

I am surprised by the lack of strong speculation and who it's likely to be though. I thought we'd know this week. If we don't, it seems we've acted again without a plan.

It’s becoming clear we have no plan, as expected.

Sell up, Top.

I said that. I said it was still early, but I’m making the point that a delay would be another sign on poor management. Let’s see when it’s done and who it is.

Because a plan hasn’t been published?
Because we’ve never had a plan on managerial appointments under these owners so we’re hardly going to have one now.

And if we had someone lined up we’d have done it by now. We have a run of critical fixtures coming up, so time is very much of the essence.

Better to wait and get the right person than launch into appointing another complete ****ing disaster like the last idiot

Find it hard to believe they haven't got someone lined up this time, though - if they have he'll be here by the weekend.

If they haven't, then we are ****ed

There will be agents, lawyers, maybe another club etc involved in any appointment, it's not something that can happen quickly unless it was all agreed before Cooper was sacked. But we didn't decide to sack Cooper until Sunday.

This is the point I'm making, I guess. Let's see what happens, but if it's Dean Smth-esque, or we haven't got someone in by the weekend, I think the anger will be understandable and real.

I reckon Ruud will be in by the weekend. TV catches him observing from the suites, all that.

The strongest speculation appears to be:

1. Potter and Moyes not in the frame (radio Leicester and Mercury seem to confirm)

2. Ruud fancies it

3. Club likes Corboran but he'd cost a few bob

I really think it's Van Nistelrooy. Hell of a gamble if so.

Odds for RVN getting shorter and shorter.

He’s likely the type to impress Top as well, and will bring more eyes to LCFC.

If Moyes doesn’t want it, then I’m not sure what to say. Perhaps the hierarchy don’t want him either. Short sighted if true.

Who do we go for?

Corberan plays good football and did extremely well turning around Huddersfield and then WBA. The WBA squad isn’t the greatest.

My logic is probably flawed, but should a man who couldn’t get WBA past the play-offs last season, be anywhere near a PL job which such high stakes in terms of survival?

Indeed, but a very interesting one.

You could also level that Maresca was an interesting gamble and that Rogers was an excellent appointment on the face of it.

You couldn't accuse the SC appointment as either interesting or excellent.
