It would be a gamble for sure but my two cents is:
a.) We took a gamble with an even more inexperienced Maresca and he has turned out to be a pretty damn good manager so far...
b.) The little managerial experience he has dad, he's literally been great in every role. League cup win and a decent finish in the table in his first season in Holland deserves credit. Solid interim showing for Man U.
Plus our record under King Power in appointing unproven managers has been damn good with Pearson and Maresca.
KP have got it right more times than they've got it wrong in general. Even Brendan you'd have to say was a good choice it just took them far too long to react when things started to turn sour a few years in.. Cooper though was a wrong un.
