Very nice indeed. Depends who they bring in though as to whether they'd let him go on loan I think. Don't reckon they'd let him go at the minute, but obviously with all their money (and in my book likely a new manager), a few new strikers are likely for them

Simon Whalley at Preston, decent proven player at Championship level and has been loaned out to Barnsley this season. A good winger at this level and would provide competition to Gradel and Dyer.

Chief scout Steve Walsh has just returned from a spying mission in Europe to watch one of the targets already identified.

Walsh, who did not want to identify the player, has built up a strong contact base around the Continent from his time with Premier League clubs Chelsea and Newcastle.

Couldn't agree more! Howard is good when he is standing in the right posistion, but otherwise he's too deep or defending.
