Don't know if I'm allowed to bump old threads, but I'll do that for now.

Here's a Swedish article about Nisse, which says that the Swedish team Hammarby want to get Nisse "home" (we all now that Leicester is the real home for Nils). Anyway, Nisse says something like this:

"That's right, I consider to get home. I've been abroad a long time now, but I'm still only 27 years old.
"My contract expires after this season, and the club haven't made any moves to renew it. But we'll see what happens. We have just changed owner, and if he decides to pump in a lot of money into the club, maybe I want to stay."

I think, along with Maybury, he is one of the worst players to currently pull on a shirt, get rid fast

Didnt he reserve his attitude recently. Saying he wanted to leave but now wants to renew. I like the chap personally, if only he was a little bit quicker.

He's been quick enough to want to get his hands on some of that money

But as he said himself, he's good enough to play in the premiership, so we should be clawing to keep hold of him and pour money at him

As I think a few fair players have been in recent years at City and all the spares and odds from any Premiership club, will be in the summer.

The likes of Quashie, most of Fulham's squad, Unsworth and Parlour will be like flies around shit.

Now I'm confused!

My second message my have been a dig at his pre-season comments regarding how he felt he was too good for us

Just because he can't get a game in his preffered position doesn't mean h should just be lumped in out of position.

He can sod off, whenever I have seen him play he has always looked well off the pace and some of his passing and control was worse than what you would expect from a primary school team.

IMO his attitude stinks as well, basically in the summer he said he was too good for the club and would be back in the prem the following season. Well considering we've been shite since he's been here, I never actually managed how he came to that conclusion!!

Now we get a new owner, and he can smell the money. He is contemplating staying! I say the club shouldn't even offer him a new deal, if we can now afford to keep a 'premiership' player then surely we could get a better one than Nills? People may say he has improved recently and maybe we should keep him, but the only reason he has done this, is so that he can sell himself to a Premiership club. Piss off now you whore!!
