We haven't won any of the last NINE games. We have picked up ONE point in the last FIVE games. Our recent results are bad, but not neatly as bad as the way we are playing deserves. Our performances at Palace, Stike and Plymouth were shockingly bad - and now the home fans are seeing how bad we are - and they are getting restless.

Yes - I think this week has seen the moments of truth.

There has been so much self-deception this season at The Walkers with all the talk about 'inconsistency' ...as if we really belonged in the limbo of mid table and at any moment the position would right itself.

For whatever reasons it has taken a long time to sink in that we are no better than the Southends and the Barnsleys - except for the stadium, the fan base and the wages paid to the players.

Unfortunately our fate is now in the hands of an unmotivated low ability players .....and I think we are now no better than 50/50 to escape.

The reality is though that we have only to fluke a lucky win in any of our last four games and we will probably survive. The question is whether the players or the Club deserve to do so.
