SkyBet are still offering what would seem a very generous 5/1.

The reality is though that we have only to fluke a lucky win in any of our last four games and we will probably survive. The question is whether the players or the Club deserve to do so.

Thats a question to be debated at the end of the season when we have hopefully survived.
A 5/1 certainty for The Glums then.

There's nothing to be debated IMHO. And I think it might be time for you to go to the pub again because the people who are actually able to get to the matches are about to tell you that there is nothing about which to be anything other than glum (other than the fact that we probably won't have to go to S****horpe).

The bookmakers are saying that if we had this situation 100 times we would be relegated 16.66 times. However the same set of odds also say that Southend will stay up some 12.5 times.

Bookies are usually right and if I were to have a bet at these odds I would rather have 1/7 on Southend getting relegated than the 5/1 about City.

So nobody is allowed to hope anymore and we should all just face the fact that we are down and have 5 different threads saying the same thing.Ok I can't go the matches but I saw enough against Deby to see some hope.

And i saw enough yesterday to know that we are down

I told you to put cash on us last week when we were 40/1, and was roundly scorned. Now it's down to 5s - and after tuesday will be even shorter

Well, my season ticket is paid for next season - just a shame it will be watching league 1 football

I'm not even sure what you are trying to argue here. Southend are virtually certain to go down so they are out of the argument as far as City are concerned. City are one of four clubs who have to battle to stay out of the last relegation place - I haven't seen any battle in them for weeks and weeks now. Ergo, the position is gloomy.

Anybody is allowed to hope (except Luton fans) but people are going to be realistic as well.

You mention the Derby game - was that the one where we were never in front and, in fact, were behind for exactly half the match?

Neither do I. I was quite looking forward to going to S****horpe.

But we still got a point and in the end thats all that matters at this point of the season,we can fluke points whatever as long as we get them.I thought I was being realistic,we have 4 games to play and we are not yet down:102:

I'm seriously thinknig about not renewing....in fact not even going any games if we go down.

It's not supposed to feel like a chore going to the games, like you are only doing it because of a sense of duty.

I'm getting to the point where I'm thinking about what I could do with the money I spend whilst following this bunch of tossers.

I'm not on a massive wage, in fact once I've paid the bills and paid for football and a couple of other things I love I don't have much left at all.

I want to move home, I want to have proper holibobs....I want to be able to go to concerts and stuff and not say to people 'oh I can't cos we are playing that day'......

If I don't go football I can do all of that.....

No, you're being optimistic

If you had witnessed the gutless performance yesterday you would be saying the same

And it's not just about guts - i was astonished by the total lack of fitness throughout the team. It was truly unbelievable

What the feck have they being doing whilst 'putting it right on the training pitch' - smoking fags and drinking stella ?

If i hadn't seen it with my own eyes i wouldn't believe it either. Never seen anything wuite like it

Birmingham will murder us on tuesday

What does that mean?

Birmingham will murder us on tuesday

I've got to the position where I hope they do. Perhaps people will then wake up.
