Right, in the cold light of day I have just watched the goals again and still believe that if that penalty was against your boys you would be livid and rightfully so.

However can't blame the boy for going down and have to blame Paterson for being naive in going anywhere near him to give him the excuse to lose control of his legs.

Paterson was clumsy as was Morgan. Both penalties were soft in my opinion. Morgan hasn't deliberately taken Mackie down, he's merely fell over his own feet and they've clashed. We'd all be laughing out loud if Mackie hadn't been there. Paterson as you say was naive. There was no danger to you guys where Drinkwater was and Paterson gave the ref an easy decision. Reid's frustration towards him was evident.

Billy has made himself look quite an idiot harping on about Mahrez being in the box when the penalty was taken. I suspect if he watches that again he'll realise that he's made himself look a bit silly. Mahrez is no further forward than your number 3 when the ball is well on the way towards Darlow - a cracking save I may add.

You will feel hard done by, almost 30 minutes with a man advantage however we as a team over the course of the season have been consistently good. You may disagree on our performances against you guys however the table doesn't lie.

On a separate note, I fully backed your chairmans decision in another thread about the splitting of the away end. I was quite surprised to see 'the other half' not even one quarter full. Do you think he'll suddenly realise that his decision is probably costing him over £1m a season in lost revenue?

Good point that in the circumstances. We are on a mini stutter at the moment. Not quite as fluid as we have been previously but it is impossible to maintain top form for the whole season. For me, the ref got all of the decisions correct.

I thought he was saying that the player who squared it to Mahrez (James?), was the player who was encroaching?

BD has to be the most ridiculous manager in the league. What on earth is he on? That interview with him is extraordinary.

On the three key decisions. The Konchesky red card would have been a yellow in most instances, but it was reckless and he was stupid to give the ref an opportunity to send him off. The Florist pen was unintentional from Morgan, but it was a pen. Really poor defending from him. A red card would have been absurd. Our pen was soft but the ref had to give it because he pushed DD from behind. Again, it was a clumsy challenge that gave the ref the opportunity to give the pen. If I were a Florist fan, and thank gawd I'm not, I'd be pissed off with the gormless twat making the challenge, not the ref.

The result appeared to be a fair one despite the fuss and fluff. I'm disappointed with the result because we really ought to have beaten a pretty poor Florist side and our own display wasn't good enough. Too many of our players didn't perform to their usual standard.

With a bit of luck, that's the last we see of BD and his moany, whiny, petulant bunch of arsewipes for a few years.

what's this I'm hearing about F***st "fans" attacking one of our radio commentators for just "doing his job"?

After we score the equaliser, Alan Young goes apeshit sitting very close to the Florist monkey's and they can't handle the injustice of it all and turn on him. All you can hear on the radio is a load of arguing and AY calling for a steward. Someone (presumably a Florist official) interjects with the 'fans' saying that AY is only doing his job to try to calm the baying mob. I found it hilarious and I'm sure AY enjoyed it no end too.

It may well be the case, I did watch it at 4am when I woke up from my dream of us winning the league against QPR at home :icon_lol:

I love it when people blather on about 'but he was the last man'

Exposes their stupidity and ignorance in a heartbeat

You've got to laugh, really

I hear the someone was our very own Geoff Peters :)

Rich, you are posting on a Leicester fans forum any therefore it is a good idea to be 'friendly' as you have.

I think although everyone bar about three on here are Leicester fans we are sensible and long in the goth enough to give an accurate account if the game.

The four goals:

Our first was a no arguments defensive error.

Your first should have been blasted into row z by one of our defenders but to be fair was dispatched well into the top corner.

Your second is in the category 'I've seen them given' in terms of a penalty. I don't think it was a sending off as the attacker had lost control and the ball was rolling towards our right hand side of the goal harmlessly to one of our players so there was no clear goal scoring opportunity.

Our scone falls into the same category as your second. The defender shouldn't have barged Vardy in the back then the referee has no decision to make.

About the amount of penalties we are getting awarded. We are creating around 20 chances per game and a fair few of these Re due to Vardy running at pace directly at goal.

I thought the referee got all of the major decisions spot on.

The exact punishment for a last man foul is now determined by the situation surrounding the offence. The Laws of the Game state a player who commits an offence that denies an obvious goal-scoring opportunity should be sent off.[1] If a goal is scored despite this challenge, referees should award the goal but not send the offending player off (unless the referee deems the challenge to be worthy of a caution and that is their second in the same match).

The terminology "last man" is no longer included in the Laws of the Game as there are situations where a referee can determine that a foul by the 'last man' is not punishable by a sending off. Examples of this include cases where the foul occurs a long distance from the goal or where the player who has been fouled is moving at an angle towards the edge of the pitch rather than towards the goal and was unlikely to have been able to attempt a shot at goal before backtracking defenders had recovered.

So which part doesnt count then hey laughing boy?

CF, I don't really care tuppence where I am, if I feel I am right I will argue until the cows etc etc.

Your first - undoubtedly a gimme for your bloke,.
Our first - one of the best headers you will ever see, unstoppable.
Our second - course it was a penalty, may have been clumsy and accidental but he brought the lad down and denied a goal scoring chance
Your pen - seems strange how your players all seem to lose the strength in their legs in the box but our boys should have known in advance what your lot were like and not given him the chance to collapse.

Sending-off offences
A player, substitute or substituted player is sent off if he commits any of the following seven offences:
• serious foul play
• violentconduct
• spitting at an opponent or any other person
• denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goalscoring opportunity
by deliberately handling the ball (this does not apply to a goalkeeper within
his own penalty area)
• denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity to an opponent moving
towards the player’s goal by an offence punishable by a free kick or a
penalty kick
• using offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures
• receiving a second caution in the same match

The whole of the second paragraph, particularly the first sentence

Did you even read through what you posted, Mr Thicky

Examples of this include cases where the foul occurs a long distance from the goal - NOPE
Where the player who has been fouled is moving at an angle towards the edge of the pitch rather than towards the goal and was unlikely to have been able to attempt a shot at goal before backtracking defenders had recovered - NOPE

Personal insults eh Mr Clown ?

Out of curiosity Rich, what is the source of the info you posted?

It's a good list PPF, but it's not complete, and should be listed in order of priority

Bit like being robbed is more serious than being raped or murdered

The thickies still won't understand it, bless 'em
