They have just signed Lee Peltier on loan for the rest of the season. Average player?

Average to slightly below average in my humble opinion.

Re: Nottingham Forest 2 Leicester 2

One problem that Billy has is that wherever he goes, he still has the disciplinary hearing hanging over him and will probably be banned from the touchline for the first few games with his new club.

having signed a 4 year contract last October, he will probably being happy to sit it out. should cost F****t a penny or two

The only thing that could have made this any better, would have been to name him as one of his backroom staff

The forest forums seem to think that Colin has decided he doesn't want to manage them so maybe Denis could get the main job.

No club could be that stupid surely

'We spent lots of money this season and we expected to be top of the league'

Wonderful stuff

Oh, hokey cokey cokey
Oh, Hokey Cokey cokey
Oh, Hokey Cokey cokey

Knees bend, arms stretch, Ra! Ra! Ra!

You put your right arm in
Your right arm out
Your right arm in and you shake it all about
You do the hokey cokey And you turn around
That's what it's all about ... Hey!

Chorus

You put your left arm in
Your left arm out
Your left arm in and you shake it all about etc.

Chorus

You put your right leg in
You put your left leg in
You put your head right in
You put your whole self in

What a mess.

It's times like this when I think about how lucky we are to have the owners we have. We could quite easily be another Forest, Hull or Cardiff...

Ok, I will laugh at this.

Colin decides he can't be doing with another clown of a chairman ala Fernandes so they are now left in limbo and signed a player who Colin jokingly asked for. Hilarious!

This time last year there was a fair bit of unrest amongst our own to see NP begone.
Glad our owners waited a little bit longer to see how things panned out.

A song for Billy:

Thank you for coming home
Sorry that the chairs are all worn
I left them here I could have sworn
These are my salad days
Slowly being eaten away
Just another play for today

Oh, but I'm proud of you
But I'm proud of you
Nothing left to make me feel small
Luck has left me standing so tall

Always believe in your soul
You've got the power to know
You're indestructible, always believe in, 'cos you are

Gold
(Gold)
I'm glad that you're bound to return
There's something I could have learned
You're indestructible, always believe in

After the rush has gone
I hope you find a little more time
Remember we were partners in crime
It's only two years ago
The man with the suit and the face
You knew that he was there on the case

Now he's in love with you
He's in love with you
And love is like a high prison wall
But you could leave me standing so tall

Gold

Always believe in your soul
You've got the power to know
You're indestructible, always believe in, 'cos you are

I want to laugh, but as I've no idea what is happening I'm not sure how funny it is

Neil Warnock joined the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on Tuesday morning to explain just why he turned down the opportunity to manage Nottingham Forest.

The former Leeds and QPR boss looked certain to be appointed as Billy Davies' successor on Monday but decided against taking the job following talks with the club's owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi.

"The talks started well but, in my eyes, it deteriorated," he said. "In the end, I didn't think I was the right one.

"I am sure someone like [Gianfranco] Zola, who will come in and just coach the team, will end up there.

"When you have got experience you have got to do it how you do it and I didn't see that there.

"I wanted a clear road ahead to do what I wanted. I talked early doors about getting players in. I actually recommended Lee Peltier, who they took on board yesterday, but when he knew I wasn't going he cancelled it and he is going off to Bolton now.

"In the end it just didn't add up to me. I thought I'd be doing it for the wrong reasons."
