Ollie talks about too many right backs etc and no wide players, but surely he hasn't checked the situation correctly?

I think we have several wide players: Newton, Mattock, Sheehan, Hayes,
Djeziri, Ferreira, and possibly Kaebi. I'm not conviced that his comments are on the mark, or maybe he is being polite about the pile of "shite" he has inherited?

Who should go in the window?

Mattock and Sheehan are left backs. Kaebi is a right wing back, and not a very good one at that. Djeziri and Ferreira don't count, they are both on loan and are both shite. Newton and Hayes are the only wingers we have.

Non of which are anywhere near good enough.

Exactly

.....and Newton and Hayes are hardly good enough if we want to mount a serious attempt at making the playoffs. We need to bring in 2 left wingers and 2 right wingers.

I can't comment on Kaebi, Djeziri or Ferreira because i've seen Kaebi play 10 minutes and the other two not at all. However the main point i want to make is that Shaun Newton is terrible.

Hayes is actually not too bad just not really the sort of quality we need if we want to be in the top 6/8.

At the moment I'd settle for not being relegated. I just wonder how much longer Milan will continue before he tries to sell up. We're going nowhere fast!

Concerns me too.

If we keep getting poor results, I doubt whether he has the stomach to change managers again and hawk the job round the system again - I suspect he would cut his losses and sell up.

Not so sure about that actually, sources I know tell me he loves the club and the area.

Ollie reckons we deserved more from the match today - whereas Mowbray reckons WBA would have been robbed a win; now I didn't get there today, so I ask those who went, is Ollie speaking just for the sake of morale, or now that the dust has settled did we actually have 'more chances than them'?

both no longer in blue shirts.

Ferreira went on his own accord, and Djeziri was ent back.

It's kind of true. I reckon, oddly enough, overall we had more good chances - like the header Kisnorbo missed in the first half. But they were way better pushing the ball around and had more sustained pressure and opportunities from further out that they should have developed better.

In your opinion would a point have been fair?

To be honest, they looked as if they could always move up a gear if they wanted to whereas we, especially in the 15 minutes leading up to their second, were playing to the extent of our abilities.

Sadly, it was never going to be good enough against a team who will be right up there when the fat lady sings.
