In your opinion would a point have been fair?

No way, we deserved exactly what we got if not more.
We had a couple of chances but our overall play was pathetic and clueless.

At the moment I'd settle for not being relegated. I just wonder how much longer Milan will continue before he tries to sell up. We're going nowhere fast!

The market has changed since he bought the Club and there would be enough buyers sniffing around. :icon_wink

Hard one to call. We had 20 minutes of good play and a couple of very good chances. With a good finisher or two, that's all it takes. And despite the possession they had, they mostly couldn't make it count near goal. So, on that basis, a point would have been fair.

But... most of the rest of the time they pinged the ball around quickly and well, and often we were struggling to get the ball at all, so maybe not.

How exactly has the market changed since the summer?

How many more potential buyers of clubs have you witnessed fighting amongst themselves in order to gain control of a semi-lob Championship side?

£44 million for Ipswich makes the up to £7 million for us looks cheap. Especially since they have more debt and a shittier stadium.

I would think that if Milan did pull out, we would go rapidly into administration.

We have the major debt re. the stadium; we have a big wage bill accommodating largely rubbish unsaleable players - with admittedly a few promising youngsters coming through but unlikely to develop to their potential because of the lack of quality around them.

I can't understand why Steven would claim that the market has changed beneficially since Milan bought the club - for Championship clubs it's almost certainly got worse in the sense of the money market has worsened and the accepted version these days seems to be that club chairmen think that the longer you stay in this division the worse your position comes - there are the parachoute clubs and there are those who have been stuck for sometime who are financially sinking unless they tighten their belt.

As for Ollie - I think he talks entertaining nonsense most of the time. We knew that before he arrived - but he still may prove a good appointment although I fear he could become caught up in the malaise that Leicester City has been suffering for a long time now.

Sorry not to be more cheerful.

So you are going to throw her into a home and let social services do it instead then are you?
If we're making analogys about our football team, then I'd probably just put her (and myself) out of our misery.

Thank you. :icon_wink

I fail to see how this singular example justifies Steven's statement.

WBA have been up for sale without offers, Coventry stumble on without being able to complete a sale - not even Birmingham are able to sell themselves despite having much greater selling points than us. There is no ready market out there for clubs in the Championship and certainly not for one such as ourselves with nothing of any note to offer potential buyers.

Maybe you'd like to enlighten me Steven?

One sixth of the League has changed hands this season so far. :102:

Plus how many more have the subject of a bid and how many Chairmen are soliciting takeovers? :102:
