No idea. I can't find anything about it in a brief search...Didn't Robbie Burns sign a one year contract prior to going out on loan to Tranmere at the end of the season?

It has happened before, usually with young players who have been injured so they've been given a bit longer to show the manager what they can do.
I expect they wanted to give Cisak some first team football on loan somewhere before deciding whether to offer him a contract. Our goalkeeping problems last season, including his own injury, meant that wasn't possible, so they're giving him a bit more time.
He's probably been told if he goes out on loan and does well he'll be given a longer contract.
- Thanks: I am a wiser man.
I was just speculating, it's probably a load of bollocks.
:icon_biggMy brief search turned up some briefs. Also this: http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~1597157,00.html
