Be amazed if he came here and if Burley fecks the Scotland job up then I think its McGhees.I think he may well stay at Motherwell and bide his time

McGhee was one of our better managers - I don't go along with the petty hatreds for people who 'walked out on us'.

As for Lambert - I don't know much about him but i would tend to prefer anyone at all to the clown Holloway - including Dour, Real Sharapova and possibly Beighton.
 
My memory of mcghoo's team was one that passed sideways along the halfway line for 30 passes at a time, intent on retaining posession. Once teams realised this the wheels fall off the MM machine. Admittedly, his style may be different now, but i was glad to see him go at the time.
 
According to a local evening newspaper Grayson has been promised transfer funding for next season with Blackpool. Maybe that has ruled him out although i guess he would come here if asked. Would be a more popular choice than Lambert or is Larry further down MM's list of 20!

Some rumour site suggested Darren Ferguson at Peterborough to replace Holloway.

Probably more chance of tempting him than Paul Ince even though we're all in the same divison now....

We cannot afford the luxury of excluding half-decent potential managers on the basis of perceived past lack of loyalty.

As we have identified many, many times - the only real loyalty in professional football is that of the fans. Everyone else concerned takes a personal ambition and generally money led approach.

Just like almost all of us have done or do in our careers.
 
According to Outfox the Fox who has posted on Foxestalk, that 2 journolist friends of his from the West Midlands have confirmed that Walsall had 2 names lined up to take over from Richard Money, but the Chairman heard (Yesterday) that Holloway is on the verge of agreeing his severance terms with ourselves and now Walsall plan to speak to Holloway and appointment him early next week.

I hoped that when I read about the Walsall chairman's decision to hold off an appointment till next week.

I do hope that this is going to happen - I genuinely believe that Holloway would suit Walsall.
 
I would just like to officially state that these type of threads where people just make up stuff, speculate bullshit, treat bollocks 'journalism' as fact and try to pretend that they have some kind of insider information drive me absolutely f*cking insane.
