They could appoint Graham Gooch as manager and he would be better than that twat Holloway.

Just get the clown out by any means at any cost, and before fecking June 1st!!!!!

Really? Goochy?? Interesting! Newts have you seen him down the Walkers yet?

Thats what I love about City fans, you'd rather have a manager that nobody has heard of, with a poor record at a lower level than Ian Holloway.

Now if you'd had the choice 6 months ago, who would you have gone for?

I know most of you blame Holloway single handedly for our relegation and that in fairness is your choice, I am not saying he has worked wonders as clearly this is not the case. But given the choice between Paul Lambert and Ian Holloway in League 1 - I would go for Holloway. At least he has been with the Club 8 months and knows how it operates, has got to know the players and despite all the criticism he will do a job for us given more time.

I get called a "Holloway Lover" for these sort of posts. To be honest, that is not the case. But I do feel that given time he can do a job for us. And if the best the revolving manager door at LCFC can throw out is Paul Lambert - then I say stick with Holloway - give him 10 games next season and if we do not win 6-7 of them - then he should be sacked.

The for/against Holloway argument has really been flogged to death now - but regardless of which side you fall, this particular argument is complete and utter bollocks

You either think he's up to the job or you don't. If you think he is the man to take us forward then you don't give him ten feckin' games, do you ? If you are that sure of his credentials then you give him the whole season, surely :102:

Utter madness

Surely even you know that any manager at any level is not given a season in this day and age in football.

If Paul Lambert lost his first 10 games, would you be starting threads saying give him the whole season to turn it round? I didn't think so.

I stand by the fact I do think Holloway can get us out of this league and he is a half decent manager - but football is a results driven game and all I am saying is that if results do not go for us in the first part of next season - then MM will not accept it and he will be sacked.

He may well be sacked long before then!

Which is the reason why he should've been f*cked out the door weeks ago.

But you didn't say 'if he lost the first ten games' did you

You said he should be sacked if had not won 6/7 of them which is just plain silly, and bordering on the blinkered thinking of a complete idiot - purely in my humble opinion, of course

If Lambert (or indeed anybody) had won five out of the first ten in a new season, with a new team, in a new League then I would certainly not be calling for his head

Like I said - utter madness

Why is it a poor record? If you check Wycombe's record under Lambert they have slowly progressed unlike ours under the Radish.Whether he is unknown is irrelevent,he's not a 'Unknown' to some of us,he's not been in Management long and everyone has to start somewhere

Thats the best reommendation I have heard for a new manager, lets get him in immediately. I am glad he is not unknown to you.

Speaks for itself really................

He got them into the Play Offs this season and narrowly missed out last season.Would you not say that is progression ? At Livingston I believe (I maybe wrong) he had to put up with huge financial restraints, the Club very nearly went broke.

Compared to Holloway's stats at LCFC those Wycombe stats look mighty fine

Enough to get them into the play-offs rather than get the team relegated

But then again you'll be sacking Holloway if he fails to achieve over a 50% win rate in his first ten games of the new season (enough to actually get promoted from League One this season just gone) so your opinion also speaks for itself, doesn't it ?

Also made it to the League cup semi-finals in his 1st season at Wycombe, beaten by Chelsea in the 2nd leg, drew the 1st leg.
