A friend has just rung me to say that the reason that Pearson is leaving is that Milan has sold Jack Hobbs against his wishes.
His source comes from within the club.

It'll be interesting to see what 'spin' the club comes out with over this whole debacle.

Would be no suprise if hobbs goes. Hoos all but told us in the mecury article a few weeks ago that players that could command a decent transfer fee may be sold.

Nice to know you Pearson. Thanks for restoring a little pride into Leicester but for leaving us to Hull I can no longer praise you or respect you. Still can't believe that you have done this, hope you take Hull down and regret this move for the rest of your life.

Losing Hobbs would be a MAJOR disappointment. It is beginning to look like we really could be on the verge of a financial meltdown.

But then, so are most of the clubs in England.

Don't worry, we could sign Upson as a replacment, along with Terry and Glenn Johnson as they may be available. They are overrated aren't they, just like dear old Nigel. My sources tell me that Nigel is on the short list to replace Fabio. According to the FA, he has an excellent managerial track record and was a wonderful central player that reminds us so much of the qualities that a modern day star - Upson - has in abundance: lack of pace, poor distribution and donkeyesque characteristics. I can see us winning the next World Cup at a canter, especially if Yann Kermorgant is eligible to play for us by then!

Having spent the weekend in Hull only a few weeks ago I can confirm it is awful.
I was told what to expect before going up(bearing in mind I had only been the two grounds before) but I really didn't think it would be as bad as what I saw.
Thankfully I spent most of the satdee evening in a state of drunken bliss so fortunately didn't see Hull by Night....if I had, the nightmares might've killed me in my sleep.

News from our end is that Hobbs and Fryatt like the thought of Hull on a Saturday night!

Personally I doubt they will be good enough for our first team. Maybe as squad players tho.
