To mid-table, probably. I'm not expecting this to result in relegation.

It's more of a shame than an out and out disaster.

Unless of course he is replaced by a good manager and we have a good season?

Of course, but with zero funds any manager is going to struggle to replicate the form an existing manager had, especially with an unfamiliar squad.

Cate - I said mid-table, NOT relegation.

I was basing the relegation comment on Fitz's post saying that we are doomed, which is why I quoted him.

Because they were the only club looking for a manager?

Maybe, but if a club wanted him enough they would have explored the situation more, they can soon offload a manager they don't want. I bet there are a few clubs who have managers hanging by a thread.

If he's that fecking good, why hasn't he gone to Liverpool (or Fulham)? I suspect that Hull, like Leicester, are about on his level, except Hull don't appear to have all the goings on in the background.

He has just as good a chance of a promotion with Hull as he did with us (if not better). Maybe the job wasn't necessarily juicier, just not as stressful.

We should count ourselves lucky, at least we have only had 1 decent manager to lose in the last 10 years.

Ha ha ha Lee Hoos just said to stringy he had a better relationship with him than he did.
