So can you buy a membership still or not-that article doesn't seem to indicate that you can't (unless I'm wrong)

I just called and they said no :102:

Serves me right for not going QPR and chucking my Watford ticket stub in the bin.

How long did you have to wait to get through?

I emailed them yesterday about a specific question, they just sent me the generic message back. Bastards.

A representativce from the club stated on the Radio Leicester Football Forum last night (Monday), that several applications for membership, mostly from distant supporters, had been received by the club. These had been processed. However, all membership applications were now closed.

So, from that statement one can only assume that after about 6-30 last night, the club would not accept any more applications for membership.

Yesterday morning they posted on the OS that memberships had been reopened.

From http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2033992,00.html
The Club can also confirm that the Standard Membership Scheme for 2009/10 has been re-opened for any supporters still wishing to become Members for the 2009/10 season.

Yesterday at 18:45 they issued a press release about ticket sales, which mentioned the sale of memberships: http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2036062,00.html

Please note, the normal Ticket Office phone line (0844 815 5000) will only be open for the sale of Season Tickets, Memberships and match ticket sales for the Middlesbrough game.

There has been nothing on the OS to say memberships have been closed again, but they have removed the membership page from the site.

So it looks like they don't know what they're doing.

All I can go on is what the club said via the FF on Radio Leicester, that membership applications had closed.

As for the OS, if memberships have closed, I would not expect the OS to catch up with this for at least another two or three weeks.

Surely that's the downside to sitting close enough to the away fans to hear them chanting back?

Perhaps, but then the stewards should block the view from halfway up where this lot are, then they wouldn't charge down to the front shoving people over in the process and letting those in the lower half the stand enjoy things(ok ok, I just want to get lots and lots of photos of Oakley and Morrison!)

TBh those who stewards that area don't seem to give a toss about the fans anyhoo...

well what can I say... I sent membership applications off this morning and got two generic replies which told me foook all about my applications. So I take it from that they are not processing them... I may have to give them a call and rant a little :icon_lol:

I've just realised that we're not going to get our own seats for the most important match for years. Duh, duh, du, duh!

I imagine most STHs will just buy their own seat? Unless you really want to piss someone off, that is.

I can't see that the online method is available yet either...

It is now (but there's a queue)

I was wrong. 2009/10 ST holders can only buy their own seat and I have just received the confirmation of my purchase. I was also trying to buy for a new 2010/2011 ST holder; this seems impossible to do atm because the system is offering no tickets for them.
