And it's not even nearly the worst place either. Jeff and I travelled down from Glasgow on the train last time we were there - we encountered no problems. Nor did the members of the London Branch who stayed overnight in Kilmarnock.

Now if we had been going to play Clyde, I might have given you diffferent advice.

I'm only going on what I've been told by local Celtic and Rangers fans up here.:102:They advised me not to bother going to Partick at all

Well I took in Glasgow speedway at Clyde's old ground and had no problems. I also worked on a project close to the Partick ground and had no problems ther either.

I willtry and make it to both games as they are relatively local for me (2.5 hours drive south)

Wouldn't be surprised to see a friendly arranged with MK Dons as part of the compensation package for Martin Allen.

It was cancelled on the advice of the Foxes Trust because it was Franchise FC time.

The Club very sensibly ignored the protests of the FT and the game was played.

What's sensible about that? There's plenty of minor league teams to play friendlies against, and picking that one is only going to piss off people. I for one don't like our club being disliked by other fans in the way it seems to be, and this is one more reason- better we played AFC Wimbledon!

So we became the first club to play them in a friendly, after every other club had had their match called off after fans protests. Made our club look like a bunch of wankers to fans of other clubs. If we play MK in a friendly or any competition I will boycott it.

Met a couple of friendly Killie fans after the game who very kindly walked with us to the town centre to advise on a decent pub, and then recommended an absolutely fantastic late hours curry house.

wimbledon weren't a serious football club and neither are McDons, i really can't see why its an issue....not for us anyway. in preseason i will be going to see city (hopefully) and no matter what my opinion of the opposition i'd still go. ****in hell i've been to leeds enough times.

as for scottish people, they're alright. with exceptions such as those from edinburgh who think I am scottish...tools!

That's because 85% of people in Edinburgh hail from the southern counties.

Dont agree with saying wimbledon wern't a serious club, they had life long fans like we all do, they took their club seriously enough.

One of the twats however is still a massive MK Dons fan and will be the first to have his photo put up at the new ground, ****ing numpty.

We should play AFC wimbledon if anyone.
