So it's your fault then. If you and 60,000 of your mates had bought tickets we wouldn't have lost '£2 million'. Although we'd have had to hire a bigger ground to fit everyone in.

I agree the figure seems ridiculously high. But that is honestly what I was told. At a guess I would speculate the majority of the costs were involved in getting teams over here, putting them up in hotels etc and paying them for appearing.

Obviously Vodaphone ****ed us over as well with their tournament, which was eventually washed out.
