If we're competing with Burnley for players then something is wrong. We need a right winger, but I'd sooner us not spaff money of there's nobody we think will improve us. As easy as it is to say Perez is shit etc, it would be very easy to buy somebody who is no better.

We have 3 wingers across 2 positions. I don't competing with Burnley for a player to at least add back up to this would be the worst move.

It won't go down well but all sounds good. Truth is Newcastle tried in the 90s to be what man city are now. Unfortunately that daft spending put them up shits creek and mike Ashley got them out by being a tight businessman. He's never going to match the ambition of the previous owners but that's probably not such a bad thing considering. Unless they do get bought by a country I think they should be glad he's not cashing in on the likes of Saint-Maximin and forked out for willock.
